Happy 4th of July on Lake Travis

Happy 4th of July!!! The girls got in last night and after a fun night of catching up, we were ready to get out and have some fun in the sun.

Camille, Lora, Nita and I headed out to meet Chris and some of his buddies for a day of celebration on Lake Travis.


We had a good crew of folks on Chump Change. Besides the 4 of us and Dang, Kareem, Crystal, Lannia, Jeff and Paula were part of our gang.


Awww.....love these girls. :) It wouldn't have been the same without them here today!!






We had a full spread for lunch on the boat. We made chicken fajitas on the grill on the front of the boat....which took FOREVER. We had made homemade pico the night before, which was gooooood!! Paula had some tasty shrimp and awesome guacamole too! She even made brownies! We were stuffed afterwards! What a feast!!



After having watermelon on the lake last time, I prepared and got some for us to have this time too! It was the juiciest watermelon I've ever had.....and it was perfect to remember that we had it with us late in the afternoon! Yumm!!!




A perfect way to celebrate the holiday. Great sun, great fun and great company!! :)
